I don’t know when you posted these pictures but i didn’t realise they were here! You’re absolutely gorgeous, Fiona, especially in the first picture with the beautiful Shalimar! xx
These photos tell the story in a way words can not.
I am a friend of Mel’s at I AM NOT SHE…
I remember this look. It was scary and sad.
Both you and Mel are alive and whole and there it is:
What can be on the other side!
Thank you for your blog!
Thank you. I’m glad that Mel has a friend like you. It’s scary to be that way, and it must be so scary to see someone you love that sick too. We are alive and we are whole and we have hope!! Thank YOU x
Hi, thanks for the follow, I love your blog. Reading blogs like yours makes striving toward recovery more possible than I ever thought. Keep up the good work, I look forward to your upcoming posts and wish you well x
Hello! Thank you so much for reading and for such a lovely comment. I hope that this blog helps you, it really helps my own fight have been worthwhile to know that it might help someone else.
Hi Fiona!
Thank you so so much for entering my giveaway and also commenting on a few of my posts in more recent times. You are one heck of an awesome lady, and I am proud of you for overcoming as much as you have! Truly looking forward to reading more
Hi Tessa, it’s lovely to ‘meet’ you. Thank you for coming over to my blog! I found you through a few readers who read your blog, and I could really relate to a lot of what you write. I’m quiet but sometimes I speak up and now I’m glad I did Thank you so much for your kind words and can’t wait to read more of your blog too xx
You have been incredibly courageous sharing these pictures I know it cannot have been easy but it shows just how far on your journey you have already come I am so glad a certain blog exists because had it not I might not have found you but it does show how far removed that bloggers idea’s about adversity are from reality.
I’ve been learning that there’s a silver lining to be found, even in the deepest of darkest times. And one of those gifts is being able to meet people I otherwise never would have. Thank you for being so supportive
I’ve only just found this page, Fiona. I hit “like” – not because I enjoyed seeing how you were “before” (believe me, the physical pain caused by the disorder is still fresh in my mind) but because of how very far you’ve come since 2009. You look happy, healthy and naturally beautiful. You also look incredibly proud of yourself in that first photo, and you have every right to be!
You may not know it and you may not think so, but You Are Amazing xxx

Thank you so much! And that picture of me and Shalimar is one of my favourites
What you have done here is courageous and strong.
